The new women's Asics Gel Nimbus 14 is a fantastic women's neutral cushioned running shoe and on of the most popular running shoes on the market The rear and forefoot Gel cushioning system is positioned in critical areas throughout the sole to reduce the impact placed on your body. Despite this outstanding level of cushioning the shoe is not too heavy and still feels light and responsive.

To further enhance both the comfort and the performance Asics have included many additional features. The biomorphic fit upper and the asymmetrical lacing design will work together to reduce any potential for blistering or irritation. Meanwhile the Impact Guidance System will bring all the components of the shoe together to give you an improved gait. The Gel Nimbus 14 is definitely a shoe for a discerning runner.

Discrete Eyelets These independently placed eyelets disburse lace tension improving the fit and reducing the risk of possible irritation

Asymmetrical Lacing Design This lacing follows the natural curve of the foot giving a better fit and putting less pressure on the metatarsal bones.

P.H.F. (Personal Heel Fit) Memory foam lining the heel collar and tongue creates a personal fit around the ankle.

Biomorphic Fit Upper The upper is made from a stretchy material that has been strategically placed so it reduces bunching when the foot is moving and associated rubbing.

Solyte Midsole Material This spongy layer between the sole and upper is designed to abosrb shock and provide cushioning for the foot. This material is lighter and more durable then EVA.

Rearfoot and Forefoot GEL Cushioning Systems The Silicone based material placed in the pressure zones of the sole dampens shock.

Ortholite Sockliner: Insole placed inside the shoe which provides cushioning with anti-bacterial properties keeping the foot drier and healthier.

Full Length Guidance Line Vertical flex groove int he sole running from heel to toe which encourages a more efficient running style.

I.G.S. (Impact Guidance System) ASICS design means the individual components of the shoe work together to give a more comfortable feel.
