Choosing the 2170 is not a bad idea anyway - with great Gel cushioning in the heel and forefoot and some modest arch support for both comfort and control this is already a popular choice. The padded memory foam fit around the heel also gives a secure fit and adds to the overall package of style, comfort and performance.

I.G.S. (Impact Guidance System) ASICS design means the individual components of the shoe work together to give a more comfortable feel an improved gait.

Rear-foot and Forefoot GEL Cushioning Systems The Silicone based material placed in the pressure zones of the sole dampens shock.

Full Length Guidance Line Vertical flex groove in the sole running from heel to toe which encourages a more efficient running style.
