The Newton Running Momentum (aka the Terra Momentus) is the new trail running shoe for this winter and is in the guidance range of support. It is designed for running on all terrains from river tow paths to mountain tracks. The upper has a closed mesh to keep out debris and also features medial and lateral webbing to provide a more stable upper.

The Momentum encourages you to run in a natural forefoot / midfoot style like the rest of the Newton shoes but has high durability to let you run on trails. The Action / Reaction Technology has been specifically adapted for off road running.

A midfoot chassis has been included for additional stability and the outsole is highly durable and has great traction. A real cutting edge trail running shoe. This is a long awaited and eagerly anticipated addition to the range of Newton running shoes.

NB: These shoes do tend to feel a bit small with the extra protection so you might want to choose a 1/2 size bigger than normal.
