The Newton Gravity (Gravitas) running shoes are the top of range neutral performance trainers from the increasingly popular and innovative brand in natural running. The updated version for 2010 has increased durability in the heel, a high-rebound midsole compound and improved fit in the upper.
The Gravity offers a fast and flexible ride with all the key features you expect from Newton. Their running shoes offer increased cushioning and energy return in the forefoot, much more so than any other type of shoe on the market.
If you have previously used the Gravity in either the orange or red models then perhaps the blue styling for this year is also an improvement. But it is not the looks that sell Newton Running Shoes. They are unique and outpeform other rivals and will help you to improve your performance.
IF YOU RACE IN THE DISTANCE THEN THIS IS THE TRAINING EQUIVALENT.

Reviews
"I have run in most Newton shoes over the past 2 years, from the first generation orange Gravity to the all weather and racer models. I love the Newton concept and now that I have mastered (or think I have) a more efficient mid/forefoot technique, I really enjoy the energy return and comfort that all shoes in the Newton range can offer. So when I tried the new electric blue Gravity shoe I was intrigued to see how they could improve on the old model.
Aside from looking great (there are some striking new colours), the new top-of-the-line neutral performance trainer has more durable heel, a high-rebound midsole and an improved upper fit. The high-rebound midsole enhances the already bouncy feel to the shoes, meaning more spring in the stride. The more durable heel means extra protection if do land on the heel (which does happen) and the improved upper with ETC sock liner + antibacterial properties means they should stay fresh for longer. Despite the higher cost (£135 RRP), the improvements Newton have made to the shoes is noticeable and definitely worthwhile paying an extra fiver for."
