The ASICS Gel Nimbus 13 SS12 is a new colour option for this highly cushioned neutral running shoe. The ASICS' Gel cushioning in the heel and forefoot of this shoe gives it a very plush and comfortable feel to run in.
The Nimbus 13, has lots of high end ASICS features such as Asymmetrical Lacing, Biomorphic Fit and Heel Clutching System. All of these features make this an excellent running shoe and it is easy to see why it is always so popoular with runners.
Additional Features
I.G.S. (Impact Guidance System) ASICS design means the individual components of the shoe work together to give a more comfortable feel an improved gait.
Rearfoot and Forefoot GEL Cushioning Systems The Silicone based material placed in the pressure zones of the sole dampens shock.
X-40 ComforDry Sockliner Insole placed inside the shoe providing cushioning as well as keeping the foot dryer and cooler
Full Length Guidance Line Vertical flex groove int he sole running from heel to toe which encourages a more efficient running style.
Solyte Midsole Material This spongy layer between the sole and upper is designed to abosrb shock and provide cushioning for the foot. This material is lighter and more durable then EVA.
Discrete Eyelets These independently placed eyelets disburse lace tension improving the fit and reducing the risk of possible irritation
Asymmetrical Lacing Design This lacing follows the natural curve of the foot giving a better fit and putting less pressure on the metatarsal bones.
P.H.F. (Personal Heel Fit) Memory foam lining the heel collar and tongue creates a personal fit around the ankle.
Biomorphic Fit Upper The upper is made from a stretchy material that has been strategically placed so it reduces bunching when the foot is moving and associated rubbing.
Heel Clutching System A lightweight heel counter on the outside of the upper provides improved support and fitting around the heel.
