The new Timex Global Trainer is a GPS running watch that offers 50m water resistance and multi-sport capability and amazing accuracy. It offers all the usual speed / pace, distance and training features you expect from a GPS watch. Plus with the included heart rate monitor chest strap you can add zone training to your programme to maximise your results.
All the data can easily be transferred to your computer for use with the easy to use but sophisticated training software Training Peaks. The included USB cable will ensure you track and store all your running data as well as data from any other workout too.
The Timex Global Trainer also has the capability to store 100 GPS locations and up to 50 routes for navigation on the move. This additional element to your training will give you the confidence to try out new runs and courses by allowing the GPS running watch to do all the hard work.
The full data specs are laid out below but there is no doubt that this Timex Ironman new training device will cover off all your needs. The size is almost the same as a Garmin Forerunner 310XT and will fit comfortably on even the smallest wrist and weighs next to nothing. It will be the must have GPS gadget for the next few years.
