The Garmin Premium Heart Rate Monitor is a replacement or upgrade from the standard chest strap. The premium or soft strap is a cloth strap with just a sensor clipping on at the front as shown in the pictures. It is comfortable and can be worn when swimming too.
It is a compatible device with all the Garmin watches sold by Lanson Running and wirelessly connects with the watch using the ANT+ technology. The signal on the premium strap is also more unique and can work amongst up to 80 other similar devices.
