The Garmin Footpod is the new, updated and much smaller footpod that offers speed and distance calculations for Garmin running watches when the GPS receiver is out of use. It is compatible with all the watches utilising the ANT+ wireless accessory technology.

The footpod is often bundled together with the FR60 but can be used with any other version of the FR60 if you wanted to upgrade from a HRM to having the extra pace, speed and distance options too. It allows you to track all your workouts from other GPS devices when training on the treadmill.
