Local Events

These are regular and popular local events to the store in Hampton Wick, Kingston. Unfortunately we are not directly involved in promoting these events but we want to make runners aware of them anyway. Our customers and staff are both keen participants and you are highly likely to see the Lanson Running Race Team competing in both events.

Human Race RunKingston / Breakfast Run

The Human Race event organisers have a growing number of high profile and popular events in its expanding calendar of activities. However, the Kingston runs are no doubtedly two of the most important and well attended events that it lays on.

The Breakfast Run is always pinned to be 2 weeks before the London Marathon in April. And the RunKingston event is 2 weeks before New York. With a choice of either 8.2 or 16miles around a scenic course taking in the River Thames, Hampton Court Palace and surrounds.

Bushy Park Run

For those of you that are not yet aware of the Park Run concept, it is a social enterprise initiative to encourage free running events across the UK and beyond. Specifically the free running events are 5k runs in local parks, that are timed, well organised, marshalled and track and send your results.

Our shop is very close to the Bushy Park Run and you will see a strong presence their from Lanson Running in our Race Team kit. We would also like to share this amazing promo video withyou that was produced to promote Park Run in general, but was filmed in Bushy Park.
