The Clif Bar was invented after it's creator Gary Erickson challenged himself to make a better bar than those available whilst he was on a 175 mile bike ride. After experimenting with his recipes in his mother's kitchen the Clif Bar was born. Gary is still the owner an has developed the range of products under the Clif brand but has always maintained his impressive commitment to people, community and environment.
