The smaller Fitness-Mad Foam Roller is a half length foam roller which is conveniently 45cm (18") long with a standard 15cm (6") diameter. For many users the full length roller is not required which is where this shorter and more practical version comes in. It is still great for stretching, massage and core stability exercises. 

Those who have suffered from iliotibial band friction syndrome will know the pain and frustration this can cause.
